when i started this blog, it was probably my 10th attempt. previous attempts included a tech blog, a productivity blog, a career advice blog, among others... i used every website builder there is, from wix to wordpress and beyond.

it never stuck.

this time, my approach is from a completely different angle. all of my previous attempts had something in common – i was trying to make money. now, i want to be very clear both for your and my own sake:

i am creating this for my own enjoyment.

this blog is for me. i am writing about things that i like, and you are not guaranteed to also like them. i am posting on my own time frame, not a schedule. i am using technology that i like to build the blog even if it means being less discoverable or even less “successful.”

my hope is that this level of authenticity and honesty is attractive to you, the reader. however, i am not trying to make money, likes, product placements, or fans through this. i am trying to make something that i am proud of and would want to consume if i were on the other side of the screen.
